October Update

Well I'm now officially 35... does that mean a mid-life crisis is imminent? Or does the fact that my social life hasn't started mean I'm safe ;)

A minor miracle happened when I got all my birthday cards on time this year.... minus my nieces which I'm told my ex-brother-in-law is to blame.

I do have some news on the job front. I managed to go to two companies last friday. The first had me take an IQ test to see if I qualify for the job. If they like me they will call within the next two weeks. The second place was an interview. I thought it was for a job I applied for, but I found out when I got there the owners son was impressed by my resume and gave it to the electrician shops. This means they want me to be a field electrician for their custom equipment. I could do the job but I doubt they will give me the money I'm asking. Plus the job would eventually mean traveling.... which could be good in small doses but bad if they are long trips (due to the cat I own).

I did manage to go to a football game that my niece Alex was cheering at. She did a good job and seems to be one of the more enthusiastic ones out there. I enclosed the pic that the Traverse City Record Eagle took of her at a different game.

My mom officially sent out the Thanksgiving plans to everyone. This will be the first time all three of us kids will be there at the same time in several years. My sister will be having her kid in December so a family Christmas won't happen. The house will be packed as my brother brings his wife and two step-kids. My sister will bring her fiance and once of his kids. That leaves me bringing myself ;-)

Well that should be good for now... and thanks to the person that sent me the {get some sex} site.... not into that buddy.
