Concert

It's been a while since I've updated so here I go. August has been a good month. Works started to slow down but it should be temporary. A friend of mine from my old job is offering me a job at his company. It's the perfect job for me, except for where it's at. The job is in Auburn Hills. This means 30 mins on a good day (one way) and up to an hour on a bad.

The weekend of Aug 20th I had two of my nieces spend the weekend at my place. It takes 4.5 hours to drive one way to pick them up. I drove up after work on thursday and arrived there that night. We left early the next morning to my place. After dropping our stuff off at my place we headed to Stoney Creek Park to rollerblade / bike. I biked it and they rollerbladed the 6 mile loop around the lake. We all had alot of fun doing that and ended the night watching tv, playing xbox. The next day, Saturday, the girls slept in and we eventually made our way to the Somerset mall. Here we toured the mall and Alex got her self a free make over. We headed back to my place where I cooked them dinner and scooted off to the concert. I bought Alex 2 tickets to see Hillary Duff plus one for myself. Originally her friend Ella was going to go but Ella's dad declined at the last minute so my youngest niece, Gabby, came in her place. The next day they slept in again then we drove half way back to their place and my parents picked them up, after some convincing.

I managed to get myself some vacation finally. I've gone a whole year without it and half that time with no paid holidays. So now I have 5 whole days to use after December 1.
