Thanksgiving

It's been a while since my last post. Not that anyone reads these anyway :)

I traveled back to my parents place on Thanksgiving day during "Near Impossible" travel conditions, according to radio stations. Good thing I have plenty of winter driving experience. This is the first time in a couple of years that the whole family has been together. My brother, his wife and his wifes two kids were in attendance. Also my sister her boyfriend, one of his kids, and my three nieces were also there.

Not much excitement I left early, Saturday, because everyone split. My mom was disappointed that I didn't stay until Sunday. I also let down my friend Robin. I called her friday to go out but apparently to late as she had to tell the babysitter she didn't need one. She called me Saturday and invited me to dinner. I turned her down because she listed off the attendees and I didn't know anyone plus I had already made up my mind to leave.

My sister is almost ready to give birth to her 4 girl with her new boyfriend. She's waiting to get married until after the pregnancy so her pre-existing insurance covers her. Since pregnancy is a "pre-existing condition" she's not allowed to join his insurance.

I took out Alex christmas shopping with me and we watched Harry Potter. I managed to get my brother / wife, my sister and two of the nieces a gift. I have an idea of what to get my parents but still got to think of something for Alex. She didn't clue me in to what she wants so I guess I got to window shop until I'm inspired, like I do with everyone.

I will attach a pic of my pregnant sister.... one with her dress properly ;-) (I took one of her after she just woke up also... lol )
